I am a partner in the Private Client Group in the Boston office. I specialize in estate planning for high net worth individuals and advising private equity firms in structuring their funds to facilitate gifting. Working in the department has been a wonderful experience, especially given the breadth and depth of the department. Different attorneys specialize in different areas, allowing clients to receive comprehensive representation in the estate planning realm. In addition, because the firm is a leader in representing private equity firms, I have had the opportunity to work with some of the most influential firms in the private equity area.

I attended Dartmouth College in Hanover, N.H., where I played both ice hockey and lacrosse. I then attended Cornell Law School where I continued my involvement in hockey, coaching a high school girl's team. Before joining Ropes & Gray, I spent several years at another law firm, but was attracted to the thriving estate planning practice at Ropes & Gray and the many talented attorneys practicing here.

In my free time, I enjoy cycling, golfing and traveling. Recently, I've snowboarded in the Swiss Alps and mountain biked in Utah.
