I joined Ropes & Gray in 2005 as an Associate in the Corporate Department. One of the reasons I joined Ropes & Gray was the breadth of work in the Corporate Department, and I have taken advantage of that opportunity by working on mutual fund matters, private fund formations, financings, mergers and acquisitions, and debt matters. Within these areas, I have learned about diverse businesses and industries, and have assisted with numerous SEC filings, including registration statements and proxy statements, asset acquisitions and stock sales, credit facilities, recapitalizations, a securitization, and have researched state laws relating to identity theft. I have also been fortunate enough to have continuing relationships with many clients, working on different matters with clients as their businesses evolve.

I graduated from Colby College in 1999 and first worked in the legal field as a corporate paralegal in Boston before heading to Colorado to spend some quality time in the mountains. I learned to ski at age 2 (on wooden skis!), and don't ever get too far from a ski hill. I returned to my native New England to attend law school, and graduated from Suffolk University Law School in 2005. During law school, I served as the Associate Executive Editor of the Suffolk University Law Review and also worked for small litigation and real estate firms in Boston.

Outside of work, I can normally be found skiing, hiking, or near the ocean, depending on the season, and love exploring New England. I also am an avid sports fan, enjoy traveling, and like to share all these activities with my family.
