I joined Ropes & Gray as a result of its combination with Fish & Neave, where I was working as a law clerk during my third year at George Washington University Law School.  After graduation, I joined Ropes & Gray full-time.

Over the past two years, I have tried to work a mix of intellectual property litigation into my practice.  I have worked actively on multiple patent litigations as well as several false advertising cases.  I have also had the opportunity to work with one of the many pro bono clients of the firm, successfully representing a criminal defendant during his sentencing appeal before the Circuit Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia.

While at GW Law, I was a member of the Student Intellectual Property Law Association.  Prior to attending law school, I was a Chemistry major and an Economics minor at Duke University.  During my undergraduate summers, I worked in the Product Development laboratory of a small pharmaceutical company in Pennsylvania.

When not in the office, I enjoy playing basketball and softball, hiking, or relaxing with family and friends.
