I joined Ropes & Gray in 2005 as an associate practicing in the Corporate Department. After spending my first few years at the firm taking on a wide variety of corporate assignments, including private equity mergers and acquisitions, debt financings, intellectual property securitizations, and software licensing, I decided to focus my practice in Investment Management. I enjoy my work in the Investment Management Group because the practice is ever-evolving and challenging and we work on continuing client teams, which gives me exposure to a broad spectrum of different projects while allowing me to establish relationships with colleagues and clients.

Since joining the firm, I have been fortunate to be involved in the coordination of clinics and representation of clients through the Massachusetts Legal Clinic for the Homeless, a pro bono initiative supported by the firm that gives associates the opportunity to represent clients with issues such as social security benefits, public housing hearings, contract disputes, and warrant surrenders.

I am originally from a small town north of Kansas City, Missouri. I moved to Boston shortly after graduating from Missouri State University. I received my J.D. from Boston University School of Law in 2005 and have been enjoying the city ever since.
