I joined Ropes & Gray as a partner in the Litigation Department in 2005. Prior to joining Ropes & Gray, I was a partner at another large firm in New York. My practice is very diverse; I have represented a wide array of clients, including many financial institutions and telecommunications companies, in virtually all types of commercial litigation. For example, I have represented clients in securities, breach of contract, antitrust, creditors’ rights, banking, and healthcare cases, among others. Among the more interesting cases I am currently working on is one that involves internet gambling and another with copyright and RICO claims.

In addition to my work at the firm, I am involved in a number of activities in the New York legal community. One of the activities that I greatly enjoy, and find particularly rewarding, is serving on the board of directors of MFY Legal Services, which is a non-profit organization that has provided high-quality, free legal services to indigent New Yorkers for over 40 years. I am also active in bar association activities both at the national and local levels.

One of the things I most like about Ropes & Gray is the opportunity to work with lawyers in all of the firm’s offices. As a result, I have gotten to know many of my colleagues not only in New York, but also in Boston and Washington, in the short time I have been at the firm. I have also enjoyed participating in the training program at the firm as it has given me an opportunity to meet and work with many of our younger litigators.
