I have been a partner in Ropes & Gray's Intellectual Property Group since January 2005. Previously, I was an associate at Fish & Neave before it merged with Ropes & Gray in 2005.
My practice focuses on patent litigation, client counseling and licensing. I enjoy the diverse range of cases that our firm handles, and the intellectual challenges that are presented by the cutting-edge technologies. I also enjoy working at Ropes & Gray because of its commitment to pro bono activities and diversity.
Representative cases that I have worked on include a patent license case involving semiconductor packaging technology, a patent infringement case involving microprocessor technology, an ANDA patent case involving ACE inhibitors, and an arbitration involving breach of contract issues.
Our firm is committed to pro bono activities and my professional interests include such matters. As lead counsel, I represented the People’s Baptist Church of Harlem in a breach of contract action in which all claims against our client were dismissed following a bench trial. In addition, I have represented several victims of domestic violence.
Our firm also is committed to diversity. As a member of the firm’s Diversity Committee, I hope to continue growing its commitment in this regard.
I graduated from Randolph-Macon Woman’s College in 1993, majoring in Physics. After college, I attended the New York University School of Law, where I obtained my J.D. degree in 1996.
When I am not working, I enjoy reading, watching movies and traveling.
