I am an eighth year associate in Ropes & Gray’s IP Litigation Group. My practice at Ropes is focused on all aspects of patent litigation, at both the district court and appellate levels, in a variety of different areas of technology, including microprocessors, video games, automotive technologies and consumer appliances. My typical work day involves advising clients on case strategy, conducting discovery and drafting motion papers.

One of the reasons that I enjoy working at Ropes is that I have consistently been given the opportunity to take on important and substantive work. Every attorney who works on a case is treated as an integral member of the team and if you are willing and able to take on a task you will generally be given the chance to do so. As a result, I quickly gained extensive pre-trial and trial experience, including taking and defending depositions, arguing motions and examining trial witnesses. This experience has given me the confidence and knowledge that I need to progress as a lawyer.

Prior to joining the firm, I studied Mechanical Engineering at Lehigh University (1996, B.S.M.E.) and law at Fordham University School of Law (2002, J.D., cum laude, Editor, Fordham Law Review). In my free time I travel as much as possible and enjoy reading, cooking, and music.
