I am an associate in Ropes & Gray's Intellectual Property Group, working primarily on intellectual property litigation matters. I joined Ropes & Gray in 2005 when it merged with Fish & Neave, the IP boutique I had worked at since 2001.

I have been fortunate to work in numerous exciting industries, including pharmaceuticals, wireless communications, semiconductor manufacturing, publishing, cable television, retail, financial transactions, and Internet technologies. I have been given the opportunity to develop considerable experience in all aspects of patent litigation, ranging from pre-suit investigations to trial. I have also gained experience opining on noninfringement and invalidity issues, performing intellectual property due diligence relating to a number of mergers, acquisitions, asset purchases, and patent licenses, drafting intellectual property licenses, and pursuing patent protection for clients.

In my free time, I enjoy running in Central Park, biking along the Hudson River, travelling, and indulging in New York's food scene. I also enjoy devoting some of my spare time to several political and charitable causes in the New York City area.

I studied Civil Engineering at Columbia University (2001, B.S., magna cum laude) and Physics at Wofford College (2001, B.S., magna cum laude). While at Columbia, I worked with the Columbia Innovation Enterprise, assisting with the university's technology transfer efforts. I attended Fordham Law School (2005, J.D., cum laude, The Fordham Law Alumni Association Medal in Constitutional Law, Staff Member, Fordham Intellectual Property Media and Entertainment Law Journal), where I developed a great interest in Constitutional Law. I continue to work towards one day becoming a true Supreme Court buff.
