After a fantastic 2003 summer at Ropes & Gray, I joined the firm as an associate in 2004, working in the Private Client Group. I graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1997 with a B.A. in Music and Communications. After working in music publishing for four years, I went back to school and received my J.D. from Harvard Law School in 2004.

My assignments in the Private Client Group are extremely varied. On a typical day, I will work on at least half a dozen matters, such as drafting estate plans, filling out subscription agreements, or forming LLCs. I think drafting is my favorite part. It is both rewarding and fun to consult with a client and help prepare a plan that meets that client’s present and future needs.

In my free time, I spend every available minute with my husband and my preschooler or, when my son is asleep, catching up on the best cable TV has to offer: ABC Family teen dramas and Project Runway.
