I am a partner in the Corporate Department of Ropes & Gray.  My practice covers a wide variety of corporate transactions from mergers and acquisitions to venture capital investments and public securities offerings.

I frequently work with private equity firms in connection with their acquisitions and sales of businesses in a variety of industries.  I also work with venture capital firms and help with their investments.

I work very closely with the portfolio companies of some of our private equity clients.  As most of these companies do not have an in-house lawyer, I advise these companies on many day-to-day issues that affect their businesses.  I often help them put in place employment agreements with their executives, stock option plans and agreements for their employees and counsel them on resolving business disputes.

I graduated from Dartmouth College in 1988 with an A.B. in History and Psychology.  While at Dartmouth, I was the captain of the varsity sailing team.  I received a J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in 1993, where I was a member of the Hastings Law Journal.

I live in Larchmont, New York, with my husband Kerry and daughters Casey (age 10) and Chrissie (age 9).  Outside of work, I spend time with my family sailing, skiing and reading.
