I am an associate practicing primarily in the Private Investment Funds Group of the Corporate Department. I graduated from Boston College Law School and Bucknell University, with a B.S. in Business Administration with a focus on accounting. Prior to law school, I spent 5 years at a public accounting firm, where I became a certificated public accountant, providing audit and business advisory services as well as management consulting services to both public and non-public corporations.

I began my career at Ropes & Gray in our Boston office and in February of 2006 I transferred to our New York office. The transition between the two offices was seamless and the firm was extremely supportive with the move.

In my years as a corporate associate my work has focused on private equity transactions, including the purchase and sale of securities for various corporations, mergers and acquisitions, private equity fund formation and hedge fund representation. My practice has allowed me to see both the fund raising side of private equity while simultaneously taking an active role in the transactional practice at the firm. I’ve been able to represent a wide-range of clients, including large multi-national corporations as well as small privately held companies. The ability to work with both types of clients has provided me fantastic opportunities for professional growth and development.

Outside of Ropes & Gray I enjoy golfing, skiing and classic car restoration, but most of all I enjoy spending time with my family.
