I joined Ropes & Gray in 2000 and am a partner in the Corporate Department. I am active in the department’s Private Equity and Securities & Public Companies practice groups, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions.

Over the past eight years, I have worked on a variety of M&A transactions, including representing private equity firms in leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, going-private transactions and minority investments. Following investment transactions, I frequently continue to advise acquired portfolio companies on a variety of general corporate matters. My practice has also included representing private equity firms in connection with the formation of investment funds and coordinating public and private equity and debt offerings.

I grew up in North Carolina and am a graduate of Wake Forest University (B.A., 1997, in History) and Harvard Law School (J.D., 2000), where I was a member of the Board of Student Advisers.

Outside the office, I enjoy spending time with my husband and infant son, our family and friends. A decade-long resident of Boston’s Back Bay neighborhood, I continue to love exploring and enjoying the city on foot.
