I joined Ropes & Gray in the Fall of 2008 as an associate splitting my time between the firm’s Corporate and Litigation Departments. I was also a summer associate at Ropes & Gray during the Summer of 2007. I chose to work at Ropes & Gray because of its strong reputation and its very pleasant working environment.

In my short time at Ropes & Gray I have had the opportunity to work on a wide variety of corporate matters, including financing deals, private equity deals, bankruptcy related matters. On the litigation side, I have worked on a number of internal investigations, large securities litigations and a wide variety of other litigation related matters. I am also a member our sports group and have worked on a number of contract negotiations for Division I college basketball coaches.

I graduated from the University of Toronto in 2005 with a double major in Political Science and American Studies. During college I worked as a bat boy for the Toronto Blue Jays. In 2008, I received a J.D. from Columbia University.  While in law school I was an editor and judge for the moot court program. I also had the opportunity to work in the National Hockey League’s legal department. Additionally, I did pro bono work with the New York City Bar Association Legal Clinic for the Homeless.

In my spare time I like to attend baseball games and sample the many restaurant choices New York has to offer.
