I joined the New York office of Ropes & Gray in 2007 as an associate in the Corporate Department. As a first year associate, I had the opportunity to work on various general corporate matters, including drafting a registration statement for a renal dialysis company and reviewing prospectuses for a large mutual fund complex. My work is now primarily focused within the firm’s Hedge Fund Group. As an associate in the group I have worked on a variety of projects, including forming hedge funds, advising hedge funds and mutual funds with respect to day-to-day regulatory concerns, and drafting prospectuses for newly acquired mutual funds.

I grew up in southern New Jersey and graduated from Barnard College, Columbia University in 2002 with a B.A. in Political Science. In college I played on Columbia University’s field hockey team and spent a semester studying environmental science in Arizona. Before attending law school, I worked at an international law firm located in New York City as a legal assistant in a mergers and acquisitions group. I started law school at Rutgers School of Law in Camden before transferring to The George Washington University Law School. I received a law degree from The George Washington University Law School in 2007. While in law school, I was a member of The George Washington Law Review, a finalist in the Gilbert A. Cuneo Government Contracts Moot Court Competition, and a Dean's Fellow in the Legal Research and Writing Program.

Outside of work, I enjoy traveling to sunny destinations to snorkel, wandering the streets of Manhattan to discover great food and shops, and skiing with my family.
