I joined Ropes & Gray in the fall of 2006 as an associate in the corporate department. I work primarily with the health care and life sciences practice groups, although I have gained exposure to the firm's diverse client base through other projects. I joined the firm because of its commitment to providing younger associates with a breadth of work that is challenging and thought-provoking.

My recent projects have included: the sale of a continuing care retirement community, regulatory research for hospitals and medical centers, a joint venture between two non-profit hospitals, a license and commercialization agreement for a biopharmaceutical company, tax-exempt and taxable bond financings for hospitals and colleges, drafting SEC disclosure documents, such as annual reports and proxy statements for public company clients, the acquisition of a physician practice group by a hospital and a venture capitalist financing for a medical device company.  In addition, I have worked on several pro bono projects, including a legal clinic for the homeless.

I graduated from the College of the Holy Cross in 2001 with a B.A. in Biology. Prior to law school, I worked as a Senior Clinical Research Analyst at Massachusetts General Hospital. I received my J.D. from the George Washington University Law School and M.P.H. from the George Washington School of Public Health and Health Services in 2006. In my free time I enjoy traveling and cooking.
