I joined Ropes & Gray in the fall of 2006 as an associate in the Corporate Department. I joined because I felt, after interviewing and spending a summer here, that I would receive great work and great training, and that I would genuinely like the people I work with. Fortunately, these initial impressions were correct, and I still feel the same way about the firm today.

I have worked on a variety of projects within the corporate department, but my focus has primarily been in the investment management practice group. While working in this practice group, I have assisted clients in their day-to-day activities as well as with special projects, which has given me a great opportunity to learn about different issues that impact companies in the investment management industry. Notable projects I have worked on recently include the launch of a new mutual fund series and the formation of a private equity fund of funds managed by a registered investment adviser.

I graduated from Boston University in 2000 with a B.A. in history and a B.S. in film and television. Prior to law school, I worked for The New York Institute of Finance, a financial education provider affiliated with the Financial Times. I received my J.D. from the University of Southern California in 2006.

In my free time I enjoy basketball, reading, going to movies and concerts, and generally enjoying life in New York City.
