I joined Ropes & Gray in 2006 as an associate practicing in its Intellectual Property Group as well as in its Litigation department. Since joining the firm, I have had the opportunity to work in various areas ranging from bankruptcy litigation, to patent litigation, to general commercial litigation. Additionally, I have practiced alongside patent agents in prosecution focusing on medical device patents, participated in opinions of invalidity and non-infringement, and completed due diligence related to licensing or purchase of patent rights.
I studied Biomedical Engineering at Tulane University School of Engineering (1996, B.S.E.), and spent the next seven years working as a product technical engineer, a start-up and project manager, and a manufacturing production manager for the Procter and Gamble Company. There I worked in the plant engineering department for both process and packaging technologies before moving to production management in the packaging department. I returned to law school at Tulane University School of Law (2006, J.D., magna cum laude, Order of the Coif) where I served as the Senior Managing Editor of the Tulane Law Review.
In my free time, I enjoy traveling, enjoying the company of good friends and family, exploring life in New York City, and devoting time to charitable and political groups. I also have recently discovered the joys of running in Central Park, and am currently training for the New Orleans Ironman 70.3 and the NYC Marathon.
